Pencil Sketch is an easy-to-use photo editor to make you an artist by creating pencil sketches from your photos! You can pick a picture from your gallery or capture one with your camera to generate the sketch. Both black-white and color photo sketch can be easily created by just one button click. Pencil Sketch provides four styles: 'Pencil', 'Sketch', 'Doodle' and 'Comic'. I require members of my clan to use Skitch, and am hoping, considering the huge number of people playing Clash of Clans that they will reconsider. Skitch allows us to take a screen shot of the town we plan to attack and clearly indicate troop and spell deployment, with color coding and labels to clearly indicate the details of the planned attack.

Word made up of two words, skate and hitch. It is basically hitching a ride while doing some form of skating. A person grabs onto the back bumper or fender of a vehicle and will be pulled along on an object. The most common objects people do this with are skateboards or a kind of roller skates/inline skates. This has been seen in various movies including Back To The Future and is also used in several video games including Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 and all other Tony Hawk games since 4, Jet Grind Radio and Skitchin' which was a game based in a large way on this particular activity. This is a way for somebody to reach a level of speed that would be near impossible to reach with just a skateboard or roller skates/inline skates alone. It is also very dangerous and can get you seriously injured if something goes wrong. Also the police frown upon this activity as well.

Skitch comes with a variety of features that allow you to annotate your images like highlighters and pencils. The functions fall far below the ones offered in Snagit, like the video capture or advanced editing available.

Skitch does have the advantage of being free while Snagit does not. Monosnap falls behind the other applications with respect to features. However, when compared to Skitch, Monosnap takes the lead by offering automatic uploads to other platforms.

One of the main problems that arise with this software program is the poor user interface. It takes a while to learn where everything is, as it is not intuitive. However, for those who aren’t looking for a heavyweight editing program, this one doesn’t have too much to get lost in.

Is there a better alternative?

Yes, Snagit is filled with a lot of features that eclipse anything offered by this program. However, there is a significant price tag. Monosnap has some exciting additions, but it doesn’t have anything special to beat Skitch.

Overall, it is a robust Evernote program. It is ideal, especially given that its an efficient replacement to Apple’s primary snipping tool. While the design elements aren’t the best, it doesn’t overload you with options.
