If you run macOS I recommend the desktop app together with the classic 1password extension instead. It doesn't autofill but you can make it fill the fields with a simple shortcut. The same shortcut brings up a little popup with the password for other apps aswell (not just in the browser, 1Pass X does not do that since it only lives in your. If Dashlane can autofill your login, but shows a gray Dashlane D logo for your password, select one of your email addresses or usernames in the first field, fill in your password manually in the second field and log in. Dashlane will then prompt you to decide whether you want to save this password or not.
1password Does Not Autofill Text
This is a strange problem that I have only encountered on a few sites; it is consistently happening on a specific game website (quakelive.com).
Anyway, I have my password for my account saved. When I log in, though, the Firefox does not auto-fill the login or password fields. If I enter the login, it still does not auto-fill the password field. I know that Firefox knows the password, because if I enter the wrong one (as I frequently do), I get a pop-up with something like 'Would you like to update the saved password on...?' Well, no, Mr. Firefox, I wouldn't like to update it, but I *would* like you to fill it in if you know it (which you do).
I've checked and double-checked all of the basics in the other articles; I am fairly confident that all of my password and security settings are correct. I rarely have problems on other sites, though I do recall it happening elsewhere before (quakelive seems to be the primary culprit here, and it may be a specific issue with that site). I can always go into the password manager and find it, but that sort of defeats the purpose.

When you turn on Autofill on your Android device, you can fill and save passwords without opening the 1Password app. Because you can fill and save your items so easily, you can use generated passwords for more apps and services than you otherwise might have, which means you can be more secure in more places.

1Password safely encrypts all your information. With Autofill, no item details are stored outside 1Password.
If you turn on Autofill previews, you can preview logins for a website or app without unlocking 1Password. To suggest logins, 1Password needs to store the account identifiers, vault identifiers, item UUIDs, domain names, and app identifiers in plain text. It also stores encrypted item titles and usernames, which it only decrypts to provide a preview. This metadata is stored in the 1Password app sandbox on your device, and no other apps can access it.
Your Master Password still protects your data
Using Autofill with 1Password does not bypass your Master Password or undermine the security of 1Password. Your data is encrypted with your Master Password, and that remains true even with Autofill turned on.

Autofill previews are turned off by default. To turn them on, go to Settings > Autofill.
To sign in to an account using Autofill or Autofill previews, you must unlock 1Password and choose an item. As always, 1Password will only fill your credentials after you choose to fill them.
Protect yourself when using Autofill
If you turn on Autofill previews, guard your device passcode closely. Anyone who knows it can find out which websites and apps you have logins for, including your usernames for those logins.
